The translation of Tuhfatul Ushaq (A Unique Gift to Lovers) by Sheikh Yahaya Amin is our first work. Alhamdulillah, 10,000 copies printed, launched and distributed. Now we present Majmau Qasa'id — 3,000 copies for mosques, madaaris, zawiyas & Maulid gatherings, plus aminiyah.com & Tuhfa App.

This English rendition of A Unique Gift to Lovers in Eulogising Aba Ishaq aims to faithfully preserve the poetic, spiritual, and emotional power of the original Arabic by Sheikh Yahya Amin. Arabic in praise carries profound layers of meaning, rhythm and nuance that naturally shift in English.
Explanatory endnotes and appendices clarify Qur'anic verses, hadith, and concepts specific to the Tijaniyya order. This is not to replace the beauty of the original Arabic but to serve as a bridge for seekers longing to connect with the fragrance of the Awliya.
About the Author
Sheikh Yahya Amin (born 15 June 1940) is a Ghanaian Islamic leader, student of Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, ardent mureed of Sheikh Ibrahim Niasse and leader of the Tijani order in Ghana. Coordinator & Advisor, Office of the National Chief Imam. Founder, Islamic Foundation for Peace and Development.
Early Life & Education
Born in Pakro, Eastern Region, to Alfa Mohammed Aminu and Hajia Halimatu Sadia. Began studies at 6 under his father, moved at 10 to Accra to study under Mallam Sharubutu. Became Hafiz at young age, proficient in English through Zongo Western education.
Scholarly Achievements
By 12, among elite scholars. At 23 (1963) completed Tuhfatul Ushaq, published 1969 endorsed by Sheikh Ibrahim Niasse — global classic of Sufi literature. In 1964 founded Faila Stars soccer team to engage youth in Arabic studies.
